Privatisation and Public-Private Partnership (P4)

For over four decades, the Government of Jamaica has reduced its interests in assets across sectors such as finance, utilities, transport, tourism, and agro-processing through asset sales, leases, and public-private partnerships.

The DBJ serves as the Government’s central implementing agency for the Public-Private Partnerships and Privatisation (P4) programme, partnering with the Ministry of Finance’s PPP Unit to assess projects and manage the development, assessment, and execution of transactions.

The P4 programme invites investors to own or operate state assets or partner with the Government to deliver public infrastructure and services.
