Description and location | In the 1960s, the Agricultural Marketing Corporation (AMC) Complex was developed to be a hub for agricultural related activities including packaging of fresh produce and value-added products for export, warehouse storage for produce and packaging material, cold storage and support offices. In 2018, management of the entity was transferred to the Agro-Investment Corporation (AIC) whose offices are located on the property. AMC Complex is located on nine (9) acres of land that houses a total of 9000 m² building space. This consists of one (1) three-storey office block, one (1) single storey stand-alone office building and four (4) levels of packaging houses and warehouses. The facilities available are warehouse space, chill room space, parking house facility, office space and ground space is also available for stripping of containers. |
Status | Business Case completed and approved by the Enterprise Team. A Cabinet Submission was prepared to seek approval of the transaction structure to proceed to the tender phase. Cabinet consultation process underway. |
